Remebering life as a child

Remember your life as a child? Life was easy and sooo care free. You didn’t have to worry about anything. Eat all the cake you want, eat all the bags of chips your lips could handle, and soda, oh forget it, it was nothing but Cool Aid and sugar water all day long. No Fruits, no veggies, no yucky healthy foods here no sir.

We used to run around outside in the middle of summer. Playing every sport you could think of from baseball to dirt biking. Never got hurt, never even flinched at the sight of our own blood when we fell. We felt invincible and lived like it to.

Oh how times have changed now. We get hurt, we cry, we work hard, we get sore, we go outside and complain about the heat. Can’t eat the foods we wish to eat. No indulging in wonderful deserts or extravagant meals unless we planning on buying larger clothes.

I know everyone can relate to this scenario in one way at a time or another. It’s a wonderful quality that sadly we lose as we get older. However we can learn to control and build ourselves up to a point that we can once again be like our former child selves. Its takes dedication and hard work and a lot of heart to succeed in gaining back some of that former youth I’m sure we all miss.
